Cost calculation

The present costs per unit you will have for one letter amounts to roughly 1,-- EUR excl. postage.

Your costs compose of the following cost factors: letter paper, envelope, print, folding, enveloping, franking and delivery.
In addition to that you have to bear costs for the printer and consumer material, e.g. enveloping machines, franking machines and maintenance contracts.

As letters do not produce by themselves you also have to consider personnell costs.

With our own production hardware

Let us assume you decide to buy a production printer and an enveloping machine for about 10.000 EUR, because you have to print and envelope 2.500 letters monthly.

This investment would cause costs for hardware and interest for 3 years what would additionally amount to 15 cents per letter.
